SLOW, SAFE AND SERENE
Method
The InForm Fitness exercise program focuses on a deliberately slow, controlled repetition. Each repetition is one up-down cycle, and a complete “rep” takes 20 seconds—with no pause between reps. Moving at this pace prevents injury and eliminates “cheating.”

During this time, we focus on correct body motion and form. Your muscles do 100% of the work—with no help from momentum. When you can no longer move the weights, the magic starts to happen. Under your trainer’s supervision, you continue to push against the weights for 10 seconds, breathing and maintaining proper form. The effort drives the deepest muscle fibers to momentary failure. Reaching muscle failure triggers muscle production, like flipping a light switch.

One set completely stimulates (or fatigues) a specific muscle group and eliminates the need for additional sets. Five to seven sets of different exercises give you a total-body workout. Then, you’re ready to go home and rest—or free to do anything else you have the energy for.

Caution:
Failing to rest can interfere with the body’s recovery, the period when it builds new muscle fibers. At InForm Fitness Studios, we don’t simply recommend you take a break from the gym—we insist.
